Use Pionex’s official self-service security flow to change the email bound to your account. Do not send a request containing passwords or verification codes to an email address. The correct path depends on whether you can still sign in and which authentication methods remain available.
Contents
Start with the official email-change link
Open Pionex’s Change Phone Number/Email quick-access page and follow its secure account link. Sign in only after confirming the domain is Pionex. Complete the security checks shown on screen.
| Your situation | Use this path |
|---|---|
| You are signed in and can use the current security methods | Use the account Security settings or official quick-access link |
| The old email is unavailable, but password and Google Authenticator work | Use the lost-contact multi-factor recovery flow |
| Only one email or phone method was bound and it is unavailable | Use the single-contact recovery form described by Pionex |
| You cannot complete the form | Submit a request through the official Pionex Help Center |
If you still have access to the account
In the app, open Pionex, Avatar, Security, then the relevant Email authentication control. Pionex may require more than one verification method. A normal logged-in unbinding can trigger a 24-hour withdrawal suspension.
If the old email is no longer available
If Google Authenticator and your password still work, Pionex’s multi-factor recovery flow asks you to identify the security method to change and answer account questions. Pionex says unbinding or rebinding through this recovery path restricts withdrawals for 72 hours. Processing times vary by path, so use the estimate displayed in the current instructions.
If the account had only one email or phone binding and no Google Authenticator, Pionex uses a separate recovery process. It may ask you to open a new verified Pionex account so eligible assets can be transferred after review.
Protect the account during the change
- Never share your password or one-time codes.
- Use only Pionex domains and the Help Center request form.
- Provide accurate registration time, nickname, device and trading-pair information when requested.
- Expect a temporary withdrawal restriction after security information changes.
- After completion, confirm the new email, password and Google Authenticator settings.
See Pionex’s current multi-factor lost-contact guide or the single-contact recovery guide when the normal change flow is unavailable.
