Yes, you can leave a Pionex Spot Grid running for a month or longer. You do not need to stop it at monthly intervals for completed grid profit to be recorded. However, duration alone does not make the strategy safe or profitable, so monitor the range, holdings and total result.
What accumulates while the bot runs
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Grid profit | Profit recorded from completed buy-and-sell grid pairs |
| Holding result | Changing value of assets currently held by the strategy |
| Total profit | The combined strategy result after both components and applicable fees |
| Releasable profit | The amount the live bot currently permits you to move out |
You do not need a monthly stop
Pionex describes Spot Grid as a 24/7 strategy. It can keep completing eligible cycles without a calendar reset. Releasing profit is optional and is not required for the next grid order. Supported automatic reinvestment has its own threshold-based workflow.
What can interrupt a month-long run
- Price leaves the configured range and grid activity pauses.
- A take-profit or stop-loss condition closes the strategy.
- The asset is suspended or delisted.
- Your market thesis, risk limit or need for the funds changes.
A simple weekly review
- Check whether price is inside the range.
- Compare total profit with grid profit rather than reading one metric alone.
- Review current holdings and pending orders.
- Check whether any risk condition has changed.
- Record your decision to continue, adjust supported controls or close.

Frequently asked questions
Can a Pionex Grid Bot run for a full month?
Yes. A Spot Grid can remain active for a month or longer while its conditions remain valid. It trades only when eligible price movement occurs inside its configured range.
Do you need to stop the bot every month to collect grid profit?
No. Completed grid cycles record grid profit while the bot runs. Stopping the bot and releasing eligible profit are separate decisions.
Does all displayed profit become withdrawable after one month?
Not necessarily. Total profit includes the changing value of held assets, while the releasable amount depends on the bot’s orders, holdings and any reinvestment state.
Should you release profit weekly?
There is no universal weekly requirement. Release only an eligible amount when it matches your fund plan and after reviewing the effect shown in the live controls.
What happens if price leaves the Grid range?
The current Pionex guide says the bot temporarily stops grid activity and can resume when price returns, unless a configured take-profit or stop-loss condition closes it.
Can a long-running Grid Bot lose money?
Yes. Grid profit can be positive while the value of the held asset falls. A prolonged move below the range can leave the bot holding a full base-asset position.
What should you monitor during the month?
Review whether price remains in range, total profit versus grid profit, holdings, order history, stop conditions, asset news and whether the original thesis still applies.
