Which Pionex Bots Automatically Reinvest or Compound Profit?

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Pionex currently documents two distinct compounding paths: DCA modes can reinvest completed-round profit into the next round, while supported Grid Bots can reinvest accumulated grid profit after a threshold is reached. Neither method guarantees growth. Reinvesting increases the amount exposed to later price moves.

DCA and Grid compounding are not the same

Product Current documented behavior Important condition
DCA Simple or Composite Profit from a completed round is distributed into the next round A new round begins with increased funds
Supported Grid Bot Grid profit accumulates in a reinvesting section Actual reinvestment waits for the required threshold
Manual close and restart You close the old bot and choose a new investment Timing, conversion and parameters can change

How Grid auto-reinvestment works

Pionex says the function accumulates generated grid profit every 24 hours. Once the amount reaches a threshold similar to the minimum investment for the same parameters and grid count, the bot can buy positions at market price and distribute them to sell orders.

How DCA compounding works

Current DCA Simple and Composite documentation describes completed-round profit as being reinvested before the next round. The next round therefore starts with more capital, but also exposes more value if the asset falls.

Compounding increases risk as well as exposure

More capital does not make the strategy more accurate. A larger next round or a reinvested Grid position can create a larger loss in an adverse move. Review the total amount exposed, not only the profit transferred into the strategy.

Keep the intents separate

This page owns the comparison of automatic reinvestment methods. For the separate question about Grid Profit, Release Profit and Take Profit, read whether a Pionex Grid Bot takes profit automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Which Pionex bot automatically compounds completed-round profit?

Pionex currently documents DCA Simple and Composite modes as automatically reinvesting profit from a completed round into the next round, creating an auto-compounding effect.

Can a Pionex Grid Bot reinvest profit automatically?

Supported Grid Bots can use an automatic reinvestment function. Generated grid profit is accumulated and reinvested only after the required threshold and other conditions are met.

Does Grid auto-reinvestment happen after every completed trade?

No. Pionex currently says profit is accumulated every 24 hours into a reinvesting section, but actual reinvestment waits until the required threshold is reached.

Can reinvested profit be released while the Grid Bot is running?

Profit already moved into the reinvesting section cannot be released through Release Profits, even if auto-reinvestment is later disabled. It becomes tradable after the bot closes.

Is automatic compounding guaranteed to increase profit?

No. Reinvesting raises the capital exposed to later price movement. Pionex warns that reinvested positions can show temporary losses if the asset price falls.

Is closing and recreating a bot the same as automatic compounding?

No. Closing and recreating is a manual decision that can change timing, parameters and asset conversion. Automatic reinvestment follows the rules of the running product.

How is this different from Release Profit or Take Profit?

Release Profit moves eligible funds out of a running bot. Take Profit can close a strategy at a configured condition. Neither term by itself means automatic compounding.
