How Many Pionex Trading Bots Can You Run at Once?

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Pionex does not have one permanent maximum that applies to every trading bot and pair. Limits depend on the product, pair, investment and current account validation. The old claim of 200 grids, 500 Moon grids and 30 bots per pair should not be treated as a current universal rule.

Bots, grids and open orders are different counts

Count Meaning
Running bots Separate active strategies
Grids Price intervals configured inside one grid strategy
Open orders Orders currently placed or dynamically managed by the bot

Current Futures Grid examples

Pionex’s current Futures Grid guide documents these rules:

  • Up to 20 bots have no additional actual-investment condition.
  • Running 20 to 50 bots requires actual investment above 50 USDT.
  • Running more than 50 requires actual investment above 200 USDT.
  • BTC and ETH perpetual pairs have broader pair limits.
  • ADA, BNB, XRP, SOL and DOGE perpetual pairs allow up to 20 bots.
  • Other pairs can be limited to 5 bots per pair.

These are product rules, not a promise that every account can create the same order. Read the live validation before funding.

The grid-count limit is separate

Pionex states that a Futures Grid Bot can use 2 to 500 grids. A higher grid count does not mean more simultaneous bots. It changes the spacing and order structure inside one bot.

Why another bot may be rejected

  1. Read the complete creation error.
  2. Confirm the bot product and exact pair.
  3. Check running bots on that pair.
  4. Check actual investment and available Primary Account balance.
  5. Review minimum order size and every parameter.
  6. Contact official Support if the current rule is unclear.

Do not treat the maximum as a target

Many small bots can still create one large correlated position. Track total capital, base-asset exposure, leverage, liquidation distance and worst-case loss across the account before adding another bot.

Use Pionex’s current Futures Grid Bot guide. For the separate question of grid levels inside one bot, see how many grids you can set on Pionex.

Frequently asked questions

How many Pionex trading bots can I run at once?

There is no reliable universal number for every product and pair. Pionex documents product-specific limits, while the live creation screen provides the final validation for your account.

Is the number of bots the same as the number of grids?

No. A bot is one running strategy. Grids are the price intervals inside one grid bot, and open orders are the orders currently placed or managed by that strategy.

What is the maximum number of Futures Grid bots?

Pionex’s current guide applies limits by investment and pair. Up to 20 bots have no added investment condition, while larger counts require more actual investment and some pairs have lower caps.

How many grids can one Futures Grid Bot use?

Pionex’s current Futures Grid guide states a range of 2 to 500 grids. This is separate from the number of bots you can run.

Can I run unlimited Futures Grid bots on every pair?

No. Pionex documents different pair rules. Major pairs can have broader limits, selected pairs can allow up to 20, and other pairs can be limited to 5.

Why can the creation screen reject another bot?

Possible causes include the product or pair limit, investment conditions, available balance, minimum order size or another parameter validation message.

Should I run the maximum number allowed?

Not automatically. More bots create more positions, monitoring work and combined exposure. Set a portfolio-level loss limit before adding another strategy.
