A running Pionex Grid Bot does not automatically compound ordinary profit simply because it is marked releasable. Releasable profit, profit reserved for orders and profit moved into the current Auto Reinvest section have different jobs.
Separate the three states
| Profit state | How it is used |
|---|---|
| Releasable | Eligible to move from the running bot to the wallet |
| Reserved | Kept inside to support the bot’s order requirements |
| Reinvesting | Accumulated for Auto Reinvest and used after its threshold is met |
Auto Reinvest changes the old answer
Pionex now documents an Auto Reinvest feature. It accumulates generated Grid Profit every 24 hours and, after a threshold is met, buys positions at market price and distributes them to sell orders. Those positions become part of the bot and can lose value.
Turning the feature off does not unlock earlier reinvesting funds
Pionex states that profit already stored in the Reinvesting section cannot be released through Release Profits after the feature is disabled. New eligible Grid Profit can become releasable, and the locked amount becomes tradable after the bot closes.
Check the live state
- Open the bot detail page.
- Compare Grid Profit and releasable profit.
- Check whether Auto Reinvest is enabled.
- Review the Reinvesting section and Balance Change History.
- Confirm the result after releasing, reinvesting or closing.

Frequently asked questions
Does a running Grid Bot use ordinary releasable profit by default?
Ordinary profit shown as releasable is available to move out of the bot and is not the same as capital already allocated to its active grid orders.
Should you always release profit immediately?
No universal schedule is best. Consider the amount, your cash-flow goal, current bot controls and whether moving it affects your wider risk plan.
What happens when Auto Reinvest is enabled?
Pionex accumulates eligible Grid Profit in a reinvesting section and uses it after the required threshold is reached to purchase positions for the bot.
Can profit in the Reinvesting section still be released?
Pionex states that once profit enters the Reinvesting section, it cannot be released with Release Profits, even if Auto Reinvest is later disabled.
Why is some Grid Profit not releasable?
The bot can reserve an amount needed to keep orders funded, so cumulative Grid Profit can be larger than the currently releasable amount.
Does leaving releasable profit inside guarantee compounding?
No. Without the applicable reinvestment feature and threshold, leaving a displayed releasable balance is not proof that it has increased the bot’s invested capital.
What should you check before acting?
Check the releasable amount, Reinvesting balance, Auto Reinvest status, Balance Change History, receiving asset and current bot documentation.
Reinvestment increases market exposure and does not guarantee a positive return.
