Why Is Your Pionex Bot Active but Not Trading?

Last updated: August 26, 2026

A Pionex bot can show Active without placing a new trade because being active does not mean its next execution condition has been met. Price may be outside a Grid range, orders may already be waiting, funds may be occupied, or the bot may show an order-level error.

Use this five-minute diagnosis

  1. Open the bot detail page and confirm its exact status.
  2. Compare the current price with its range, trigger and exit settings.
  3. Check Open Orders and Transaction History for waiting, filled, canceled or rejected orders.
  4. Review the available and occupied balance.
  5. Read the full error message before changing any parameter.

Common reasons and next checks

What you see What to check
Active with no fills Trigger, range, signal or order conditions
Price outside Grid range Whether normal trading has paused
Order rejected Minimum quantity, precision, balance and pair availability
Opening or closing stuck Status duration, market volatility and support guidance
Balance unavailable Other bots, limit orders or occupied assets

When to contact support

If the status, balance and trade history still conflict, preserve the order ID and screenshots. Pionex’s current guide says a bot stuck while opening or closing can sometimes be observed for up to one hour before escalation.

Use Pionex’s bot-error guide and the occupied-assets guide.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a Pionex bot active but not trading?

Its next rule may not be triggered, price may be outside the operating range, orders may already be waiting, available funds may be occupied, or an order may have an error.

Does Active mean the bot should trade constantly?

No. Active means the strategy is running. It trades only when its configured price, signal, time or order conditions are satisfied.

What should you check first?

Check the pair, current price, operating range, open orders, transaction history, available balance and any message shown in the bot detail page.

What happens when a Grid Bot leaves its range?

A Grid Bot can pause normal grid trading outside its upper or lower limit and resume if price returns, unless an exit condition has closed it.

Can minimum-order rules stop a bot order?

Yes. Price movement, investment changes or withdrawn profit can leave an order below the market’s minimum quantity or precision requirement.

How long should you wait if opening or closing is stuck?

Pionex’s current error guide says an order stuck for more than 30 minutes can be observed for up to one hour before contacting support with the order details.

What should you send Pionex Support?

Send the order ID, pair, bot type, time, status, error message and screenshots. Never send your password, two-factor code, seed phrase or withdrawal code.

Do not repeatedly cancel, recreate or add funds until you understand the current status and the effect of the next action.
