How Does a Pionex Grid Bot Handle Profits?

Last updated: August 26, 2026

A Pionex Grid Bot records profit from completed buy-and-sell grid cycles inside the running strategy. That cumulative Grid Profit is not automatically the same as available wallet balance, releasable profit or Total Profit.

Four profit states

Display Meaning
Grid Profit Cumulative result from completed grid cycles
Unrealized profit Current gain or loss on held assets
Total Profit Grid Profit plus the unrealized result under the product formula
Releasable profit The amount the current interface permits you to move out

Why some profit stays in the bot

The strategy needs valid order sizes and both sides of the trading pair. Releasing too much could leave it unable to place planned orders, so cumulative Grid Profit may be larger than the currently releasable amount.

What Auto Reinvest changes

When enabled, eligible Grid Profit can accumulate in a Reinvesting section. Pionex says actual reinvestment happens only after the required threshold is met, then purchases positions at market price and adds them to sell orders. Reinvested capital can lose value if the asset falls.

Before releasing or closing

  1. Check Grid Profit and Total Profit separately.
  2. Read the releasable amount shown now.
  3. Check whether Auto Reinvest is enabled.
  4. Review the closing settlement option and remaining holdings.
  5. Confirm fees and the assets you will receive.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to Grid Profit while the bot is running?

Completed grid profit is recorded inside the running bot and supports its operation; it is not automatically the same as available wallet balance.

Is all displayed Grid Profit releasable?

No. The releasable amount can be smaller because the bot must preserve enough assets and order value to keep its grid operating.

Does the bot automatically reinvest every profit?

Only when the Auto Reinvest feature is enabled and its accumulation threshold and other conditions are met.

How does Auto Reinvest work?

Pionex says eligible grid profit accumulates every 24 hours and, after reaching the required threshold, can buy positions at market price for distribution to sell orders.

Can profit stored in the Reinvesting section be released?

Pionex says that amount cannot be released through Release Profits after it enters the Reinvesting section, even if Auto Reinvest is later disabled.

Is Grid Profit the same as Total Profit?

No. Total Profit also reflects the unrealized gain or loss on assets still held by the bot.

What happens when you close the bot?

The bot cancels its orders and settles its assets according to the closing option shown in the current interface; review the preview before confirming.

Positive Grid Profit does not guarantee positive Total Profit or prevent losses on held assets.
