Bitsgap connects to supported exchanges so you can manage trading bots across accounts. Pionex provides bots inside its own exchange account without a separate bot subscription. The choice depends on where you want to trade, which tools you need and the total cost of running them.
This comparison uses official product and pricing information; it is not a test of trading performance.

How much does Bitsgap cost?
The official Bitsgap pricing page lists the following USD prices. Annual prices are monthly equivalents for a 12-month subscription, not monthly billing.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Monthly equivalent with annual billing | Active GRID / DCA bots |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $29 | $23 | 3 / 10 |
| Advanced | $69 | $55 | 10 / 50 |
| Pro | $149 | $119 | 50 / 250 |
Bitsgap also lists a free plan with demo bots, manual trading and up to three COMBO bots on Evedex. It offers a seven-day Pro trial without a credit card. These exceptions do not mean that every live bot is free. Check the plan, exchange and bot combination before subscribing.
The subscription is only one part of the bill. You also need capital on the trading venue, and its trading fees still apply. Futures can involve funding payments and liquidation risk. Check checkout pricing and the exchange’s fee schedule before paying.
What does Pionex charge?
Pionex’s built-in bots have no separate software subscription. Its published fee schedule shows standard spot maker and taker fees of 0.05%, and futures maker and taker fees of 0.02% and 0.05%. These are not universal rates for every product: leveraged tokens, tokenized-stock markets, VIP tiers and other products may have different charges. Confirm the exact rate in your account.
For example, a $1,000 spot fill at 0.05% costs $0.50. A later $1,000 sell at the same rate costs another $0.50. That is $1 in trading fees across the two fills, before spread or price movement. Frequent orders can make costs significant even without a subscription.

Which tools and exchanges can you use?
Bitsgap offers GRID and DCA tools, with additional bots and controls depending on the plan and venue. Its exchange directory includes Binance, Coinbase Advanced, Kraken and OKX, among others. A listed exchange does not necessarily support every bot or market. Check the exact integration you intend to use.
Pionex’s official bot guides cover spot and futures products. Start with the strategy you need rather than a total bot count. A spot grid trades within a selected range; a futures strategy adds different costs and leverage risks. Availability depends on the product and your account.

Account setup and risks
With Bitsgap and a supported centralized exchange, you keep the trading balance at that exchange and connect the account to Bitsgap. Bitsgap’s API-permission guidance says to allow trading and balance access while disabling withdrawals. It says keys with withdrawal permissions are rejected. Restricted permissions do not eliminate the risk of unwanted trades, account compromise or exchange failure.
With Pionex, you fund the Pionex account and configure the built-in bot there. You do not need to maintain a separate external exchange connection for that bot. You still rely on Pionex for custody and execution, and you must protect your account and monitor positions.
⚠️ Both approaches can lose money. A grid can accumulate an asset while its price falls, trading fees can consume small gains, and leveraged positions can be liquidated. Backtests and suggested settings do not guarantee future results.
Which should you choose?
Consider Bitsgap if you already trade on supported exchanges and want to manage automation across them. Check that its tools justify the subscription for your account size and that your exchange supports the bot you need.
Consider Pionex if you want to run bots within one exchange account and avoid a separate software subscription. First confirm that its available markets, account eligibility and bot controls meet your needs.
Before committing money, write down the pair, strategy, total investment, maximum loss you can accept and expected costs. Check how to stop the bot and what happens to open positions when you do. A platform comparison cannot decide those trading choices for you.
