Which Pionex Bots Trade on the Spot Market?

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Pionex offers several bots that trade spot assets. The main spot families include Grid Bot, Reverse Grid, DCA modes and Smart Trade. Margin Grid and Leveraged Grid also appear in the spot-bot section but add leverage-related risk. Futures Grid and Signal Bot are separate futures products.

Pionex spot-bot families

Bot family Typical purpose Key point
Grid Bot Trade repeated moves inside a price range Buys and sells spot assets across configured grid levels
Reverse Grid Accumulate more of the base asset through range trading Performance is commonly viewed in the base asset
DCA modes Build or manage a position through repeated entries Modes and profit-taking logic differ, so check the selected product
Smart Trade Plan an entry with take-profit and stop-loss controls Designed around a defined trade rather than continuous grid fills
Margin Grid / Leveraged Grid Run grid logic with added exposure Borrowing or leverage adds risk beyond an unleveraged Spot Grid Bot

Spot bots versus futures bots

A spot bot buys and sells the underlying assets available in the selected trading pair. A futures bot trades a derivative contract and can use leverage, which introduces liquidation and funding-fee risk. Do not treat the two as interchangeable just because both use grid logic.

The old arbitrage answer is no longer current

Older Pionex content sometimes described a Spot-Futures Arbitrage Bot as the exception to an “all bots are spot” rule. Pionex delisted that former Arbitrage Bot in February 2024. Current futures products should be evaluated separately from the spot-bot list.

How to choose among spot bots

  1. Decide whether you expect a range, recurring accumulation or a single planned trade.
  2. Choose the quote and base assets you are prepared to hold.
  3. Check fees, minimum order requirements and available pairs.
  4. Avoid leverage unless you understand its added loss and liquidation risks.
  5. Review the exact product page in the current app because availability can change.
