A Pionex bot can realize or release profit and continue, but a configured Grid Taking Profit Price closes the bot. Use Release Profit for eligible Regular Grid funds, or a repeating DCA structure for completed rounds. Do not treat these controls as interchangeable.
Four controls that sound similar
| Control | What happens | Does the bot continue? |
|---|---|---|
| Grid Taking Profit Price | Closes the bot and sells locked positions | No |
| Release Profit | Moves eligible Grid Profit or unused reserve funds out | Yes |
| Grid auto reinvestment | Adds eligible accumulated profit back to the strategy | Yes |
| DCA round take profit | Completes a deal and can begin another round | Yes, while the overall bot remains active |
Release Profit is not automatic take profit
Release Profit acts on funds the Grid Bot can spare while maintaining its orders and reserved requirements. It does not sell the entire held position or prove that Total Profit is positive. The live Releasable Profit can be zero.
Automatic reinvestment keeps the profit exposed
Pionex states that supported Grid profit can accumulate for reinvestment. Once moved into the Reinvesting section, it cannot be released through the normal control even if reinvestment is later disabled. Closing makes the associated funds tradeable again.
DCA uses repeating deal rounds
A DCA bot can sell the accumulated position at a configured take-profit condition, record the completed round and use the result in the next round. This is not the same as keeping one open position unchanged.
Choose from the desired end state
- End the entire strategy: use a closing take-profit condition.
- Keep grid orders but free eligible funds: inspect Release Profit.
- Compound supported Grid profit: review auto reinvestment.
- Repeat buy-and-sell deals: review DCA round behavior.
- Confirm fees, tax effects and market exposure.

Frequently asked questions
Can a Pionex bot take profit and keep running?
Yes, depending on what you mean by take profit. Eligible Grid profit can be released while the bot continues, and DCA can complete profitable rounds and start another. A configured Grid take-profit price closes the bot.
Does the Grid Bot take-profit price keep the bot running?
No. Pionex documents Taking Profit Price as Close bot at. When triggered, it closes the strategy and sells its locked positions.
What does Release Profit do?
It withdraws eligible Grid Profit and unused reserve funds without changing the initial investment or grid orders, subject to the live releasable amount and reinvestment state.
Why can Releasable Profit show zero?
Profit may be needed for reserved fees, order requirements or automatic reinvestment. The amount shown in the live bot action is the relevant figure.
Can DCA take profit and begin another round?
Pionex documents DCA modes that close a completed deal at the configured take-profit condition and reinvest the result into the next round while the overall bot remains active.
Does automatic reinvestment make profit withdrawable?
No. Reinvested profit becomes part of the bot’s capital and market exposure. Pionex states that amounts already moved into the Reinvesting section cannot be released until the bot closes.
Which control should you choose?
Use a closing take-profit when the whole strategy should end, Release Profit when eligible Grid funds should leave while orders continue, or a repeating DCA structure when a new round matches the plan.
Taking or reinvesting profit does not remove market risk, fees or the possibility of a negative Total Profit.
