You do not need a VPS to keep Pionex’s built-in bots running. The strategy runs on Pionex’s systems after you create it, so your computer and browser do not have to remain online. A VPN is different and should not be used to hide your location or bypass regional restrictions.

Why a VPS is unnecessary
After a Pionex bot is created successfully, Pionex executes the strategy on its platform. You can close the app or turn off your computer without stopping the bot. You still need to monitor the strategy, price range, margin and risk controls, but continuous local uptime is not required.
A VPS may only be relevant if you run separate custom software, an API client or another external service. That is a different setup with its own security, API-permission and maintenance risks.
Why VPN use requires caution
Pionex availability and KYC support depend on jurisdiction. Pionex publishes an unsupported-country and region list that can change. A VPN does not make an ineligible account eligible and should not be used to conceal residence or bypass restrictions.
