Releasing $100 shown as eligible Releasable Profit should not simply reduce a $500 Grid Bot’s initial investment to $400. Pionex documents the release control as using eligible profit and unused reserves while keeping initial investment and grid orders unchanged. Verify the live confirmation.
The $500 and $100 measure different things
| Number | Meaning |
|---|---|
| $500 investment | Capital allocated when the bot started |
| $100 Grid Profit | Completed grid-cycle result before checking release eligibility |
| $100 Releasable Profit | Amount the live bot currently permits you to remove |
| Current value | Market value of the assets still held and reserved |
Why current value can still show $400
Positive Grid Profit does not cancel an unrealized loss on ETH. For example, completed cycles can add profit while the remaining ETH falls enough to make Total Profit negative. That accounting effect is separate from releasing eligible profit.
How to verify a release
- Record investment and current holdings.
- Record Grid Profit, unrealized PnL and Total Profit.
- Open Release Profit and read the eligible amount.
- Confirm the payout currency and destination.
- After completion, verify initial investment and open grid orders.
- Save the transaction record.
Auto reinvestment changes availability
If automatic reinvestment is enabled, completed profit can be reassigned to the strategy and may not remain available through the normal release control. Use the live Releasable Profit number rather than assuming all Grid Profit can be removed.

Frequently asked questions
Does releasing $100 make a $500 Grid Bot investment become $400?
Pionex documents Release Profit as withdrawing eligible profit and unused reserves without changing the initial investment or grid orders. Check the live confirmation.
Why can the bot’s current value still be below $500?
The bot holds ETH. An unrealized loss can outweigh positive Grid Profit, so Total Profit and current value can be below the initial investment.
Is Releasable Profit always equal to Grid Profit?
No. Some funds may be needed for fees, open orders or reserves. Auto-reinvested profit may also be unavailable through the normal release control.
Which balance pays the released amount?
The system releases only the eligible amount shown by the running bot. Do not infer a source from the displayed asset balance alone.
Does releasing profit stop the bot?
The documented Release Profit control is designed to keep the bot and grid orders running, subject to the live bot’s eligibility and confirmation.
Can you release more than the shown amount?
No. Use no more than the live Releasable Profit amount. To remove additional capital, use a separate supported control or close the bot after reviewing the effect.
What should you compare before and after release?
Record initial investment, current holdings, Grid Profit, unrealized PnL, Total Profit, releasable amount, open orders and the completed withdrawal record.
Grid Profit alone does not show the bot’s total result.
