Release Profit lets you move the amount currently marked as releasable out of a running Pionex Grid Bot without closing it. The releasable amount is not necessarily the same as Grid Profit or Total Profit because the bot can reserve funds for orders and fees, while unrealized value remains in held assets.
Four profit figures can answer different questions
| Figure | What it helps you understand |
|---|---|
| Grid Profit | Realized result from completed grid cycles |
| Unrealized Profit | Value change in assets still held |
| Total Profit | The strategy’s combined result under the displayed calculation |
| Releasable amount | What the interface currently permits you to move out |
Why the releasable amount can be smaller
The bot needs capital to maintain its orders. Some Grid Profit can therefore remain reserved, and the displayed amount can also account for fees and current order requirements. A positive Total Profit does not mean the same amount is immediately available.
Release and reinvest are different actions
Release Profit moves eligible funds out for other uses. Auto reinvesting accumulates eligible Grid Profit and, after its threshold is met, can buy positions at market price and distribute them into sell orders. Pionex warns that reinvested positions can lose value if the coin falls.
How to release profit carefully
- Open the exact running Grid Bot.
- Record Grid Profit, Total Profit and the releasable amount.
- Check whether auto reinvesting is enabled.
- Read the release preview and destination balance.
- Confirm only the amount shown as available.
- Verify the bot remains running and review Balance Change History.
When Release Profit shows zero
Do not assume the feature is broken. The amount may be below the current threshold, needed for fees or orders, or already assigned to reinvesting. If the details do not explain the result, contact official Pionex Support with the bot ID and screenshots.
See Pionex’s current Grid Bot auto-reinvesting FAQ. For where different bot profits remain, read where Pionex bot profits go.
Frequently asked questions
What does Release Profit mean in a Pionex Grid Bot?
It moves the amount currently marked as releasable out of a running bot without closing the strategy. It does not release every profit figure shown.
Is releasable profit the same as Total Profit?
No. Total Profit can include unrealized changes in held assets, while the releasable amount depends on eligible realized Grid Profit and funds the bot does not need to reserve.
Why is Release Profit showing zero?
The bot may not have enough eligible profit after reserved funds and fees, or profit may be held in a reinvesting section. Read the current bot details for the exact reason.
Where does released profit go?
Released funds become available in the relevant Pionex account balance shown by the current product flow. Verify the balance-change record after the action.
Does releasing profit stop the Grid Bot?
No. The purpose of the function is to release eligible funds while the bot continues. Its existing orders still need enough reserved capital to operate.
Is Release Profit the same as auto reinvesting?
No. Release Profit moves eligible funds out of the bot. Auto reinvesting moves eligible accumulated profit into the strategy under a separate set of rules.
Can I release funds already placed in the reinvesting section?
Pionex’s current auto-reinvesting FAQ says funds in that section cannot be released while the bot runs, even if you later disable auto reinvesting.
A displayed profit is not necessarily available cash. Verify the releasable amount and live preview.
