Bybit Card currently offers tiered cashback from 2% to 10% with monthly caps from $5 to $600. Pionex Card pays 1% USDT cashback without a monthly cap plus 5% APR on the card balance. Here is the current comparison.
Bybit Card gets a lot of attention for its cashback headline. Ten percent sounds like the best deal in the crypto card market. Whether it actually is depends on your tier, your country, and how much you spend each month.
For a base user, the direct comparison is Bybit’s 2% cashback with a $5 monthly cap versus Pionex’s 1% cashback without a monthly cap. Higher Bybit tiers require qualifying VIP status or monthly spending and have larger caps.

The Cashback Reality Check
Source: Bybit Card Rewards, checked July 29, 2026.
The Bybit Card’s cashback programme is tiered. The advertised 10% is real – for Bybit Infinite VIP members with very high trading volumes. For a standard new user, the base rate is 2%.
The 2% base rate is capped at $5 per month. At that rate, the cap is reached after $250 of eligible spending. Higher tiers raise both the cashback rate and monthly cap under Bybit’s current rules.
At $1,000/month in card spending:
- Bybit base tier: 2% on eligible spending, capped at $5 for the month.
- Pionex: 1% on all $1,000 = $10 cashback, no cap.
At $2,000/month:
- Bybit base tier: up to $5 cashback for the month.
- Pionex: $20 cashback.
The monthly cap matters for everyday users. At the current base tier, Pionex’s uncapped 1% generates more than Bybit’s $5 maximum once eligible monthly spending exceeds $500. Higher Bybit tiers can change the result. For a deeper numbers breakdown, read Is the Pionex Card Cashback Worth It?.
Bybit Tier 2 requires $500 in monthly spending for non-VIP users. The rate remains 2%, but the monthly cashback cap rises to $50. Higher tiers increase the rate and cap, and users must continue meeting the current spending or VIP conditions.
Pionex requires nothing beyond having the card. Spend $5,000 in a month or $50 – the 1% applies either way.
The FX Fee Picture
Neither card is free on international spend, but the net cost differs.
Pionex Visa Card: 1% FX fee on non-USD purchases, offset exactly by 1% cashback on eligible transactions. Net cost: zero.
Bybit Card (EEA program): A 0.5% FX fee plus a 0.9% crypto conversion fee can apply when spending from crypto. The base 2% cashback is capped at $5 per month, so the final cost depends on the funding asset, transaction currency, and remaining reward cap.
For a German user spending EUR1,000/month internationally:
- Bybit: the stated EEA fees can total about 1.4% when spending from crypto, while base-tier cashback is capped at $5 per month. Check the live calculation for your funding asset and card region.
- Pionex: EUR10 cashback, EUR10 FX fee. Net: EUR0, plus 5% APR on balance.
The APR Comparison
Both cards offer interest on idle balances.
Pionex Card: 5% APR on USDT in the card account. No lock-up, no minimum beyond the 100 USDT eligibility threshold. Continuous accrual.
Bybit Card rewards are separate from Bybit Earn products. Any yield on idle assets depends on the specific Earn product and its current variable rate, rather than a fixed return paid by the card itself.
The balance-yield comparison is not like-for-like:
- Bybit Earn rates are product-specific and variable
- The funds are technically in a savings product, not the card balance itself, which adds a layer of complexity
- Pionex’s 5% is simpler: whatever is in your card account earns, period
Pionex states a 5% APR for eligible USDT in the card account. Bybit users should check the live rate and terms of any separate Earn product before comparing returns.
Country Availability: The Biggest Practical Difference
This is where the comparison shifts most sharply for users in markets where card availability differs. For a fuller country guide, see Where Does Pionex Card Work?.
Card access should be checked separately for each provider. Pionex currently lists Singapore as unsupported for phone registration and KYC, and Pionex Card cannot be used with merchants registered or operating in Russia. In other countries, registration availability does not guarantee Card approval. Bybit Card availability varies by card program and country, so confirm the result in the Bybit app before applying.
Do not rely on a broad country-count claim. Eligibility, issuer rules, and merchant restrictions can change independently.
Higher Reward Tiers: Where Bybit Can Have an Edge
Bybit’s higher tiers offer cashback rates from 4% to 10% with monthly caps from $150 to $600. These tiers can outperform a flat 1% rate for users who naturally meet the qualifying spending or VIP requirements.
Pionex uses a simpler flat structure: 1% USDT cashback on eligible purchases without a monthly cap.
Use the official Bybit rewards table to compare the rate, minimum monthly spend, and cap for your tier before choosing.
Who Should Use Which Card
Choose Pionex Card if:
- Your Pionex account and Card application are eligible in your country, and the merchant location is supported

- You want a simple 1% USDT cashback with no expiry, no cap, no conditions
- You want FX cost to net to zero on international purchases

Choose Bybit Card if:
- The Bybit app confirms Card eligibility for your country and account
- You are already a Bybit VIP trader and earn the higher cashback tiers naturally
- You pay for Netflix, Spotify, and ChatGPT and can qualify for subscription rebates at Tier 2
- You want a physical card delivered quickly (EEA: free)
