What is the best action if price starts to go outside range (grid bot)?

Answer

Most people will close their bots after it reach the upper price because it means that the trades already fullfill their trading plan. But for some long term bot user, they prefer to let it run and leave it for months and maybe years, comeback later with super wide price range bot. It’s your choice to let it run , or stop and take profit then move on onto the next trades.
