A standard Pionex Spot Grid Bot can remain open after price falls below its lower limit, even though it is no longer completing grid cycles. The lower limit defines the trading range; it does not automatically close the position.

Check the price, orders and bot status separately
Open the details for the affected bot and compare the current price with its saved lower limit. Then inspect the open orders, recent fills and whether an exit rule has triggered. “Open” and “actively completing trades” describe different things.

| Price has returned inside the range | An open bot can resume, but a new fill still requires price to reach an order and execution to occur. |
| The bot is closed | Check whether you closed it or an exit condition triggered. Returning to the old range does not recreate a closed bot. |
Why the account value can keep falling
A pause in grid activity does not freeze the value of the asset already bought. In a hypothetical example, holding 2 units while their price falls from 90 to 80 USDT reduces their value by 20 USDT. That change can occur without another trade. These figures illustrate valuation, not a live bot result.
⚠️ Waiting for price to return leaves the remaining position exposed. There is no guarantee that the market will return to your range.
Check the exit rule before changing anything
Review the actual stop-loss or closing controls saved on the bot. Do not assume a lower boundary is also an exit price. Read how the lower limit differs from a stop loss.
If the issue is whether to wait or restart, use the restart decision checklist rather than treating a paused bot as a technical failure.
