Unreleased Pionex Grid Profit does not automatically increase the bot unless Reinvest Profits Automatically is enabled and the required threshold is reached. Profit moved into Reinvesting follows different release rules from ordinary Releasable Profit.
Three different profit states
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Grid Profit | Profit recorded from completed grid cycles |
| Releasable Profit | Amount currently eligible for Release Profit |
| Reinvesting | Profit reserved for possible automatic reinvestment |
How Auto Reinvesting works
- Enable Reinvest Profits Automatically in the running bot.
- Pionex accumulates generated Grid Profit every 24 hours.
- The amount moves into the Reinvesting section.
- The bot waits until the minimum threshold is met.
- It buys positions at market price and distributes them to sell orders.
Disabling does not unlock the existing amount
Pionex states that profit already moved into Reinvesting cannot be released through the normal control, even if actual reinvestment has not happened. After disabling, newly generated profit is not moved there and may become releasable. The reserved amount becomes tradable when the bot closes.
Reinvestment changes risk
Once reinvested, profit becomes part of the bot’s positions. A falling asset can create a temporary loss on those positions. Compare Total Profit, holdings and drawdown, not only completed Grid Profit.

Frequently asked questions
Does unreleased Grid Profit reinvest automatically?
Only when Reinvest Profits Automatically is enabled. Otherwise, eligible profit can remain available for release instead of increasing the bot’s positions.
How often does Pionex collect profit for reinvestment?
Pionex says an enabled Grid Bot accumulates generated grid profit every 24 hours into the Reinvesting section.
When does the actual reinvestment happen?
It occurs after the Reinvesting amount reaches the minimum threshold for the same bot parameters and grid count.
Can profit in the Reinvesting section be released?
No. Pionex says profit moved there cannot be released through Release Profits, even after you disable the feature and before reinvestment executes.
What happens after Auto Reinvesting is disabled?
Future Grid Profit is no longer moved into Reinvesting and can be eligible for release, while the existing Reinvesting amount remains with the bot.
When does the Reinvesting amount become tradable again?
Pionex says all bot funds, including the Reinvesting amount, become tradable after the bot is closed.
Can reinvestment create a loss?
Yes. Reinvested profit buys positions at market price and becomes part of the principal, so a later coin-price decline can create an unrealized loss.
Profit metrics do not guarantee the final value when a bot is closed.
