Many Infinity Grid transactions do not mean that profit should already appear in your available balance. The running bot keeps its assets and results inside the strategy. Pionex’s current Infinity Grid guide says profit cannot be released for another use while the bot runs, so you must evaluate the closing preview if you want the funds outside it.
Transaction count is not the same as available profit
| Metric | What it represents | Why it can differ |
|---|---|---|
| Transactions | Individual buy and sell executions | One completed cycle can require matched orders |
| Grid Profit | Result from completed grid cycles | It remains part of the bot |
| Unrealized PnL | Changing value of held assets | It moves with market price |
| Total Profit | Grid Profit plus unrealized result | It can be negative despite positive Grid Profit |
Where the result sits
Infinity Grid keeps a portion of the base asset as price rises and continues managing the strategy above a fixed upper boundary. Its Grid Profit and holdings remain connected to the running bot. They are not the same as free funds in the Primary Account.
Why four days is not a useful performance test by itself
The result depends on order size, spacing, fees, price path and current holdings. A high number of small cycles can produce less net profit than a lower number of wider cycles. Compare the result with capital used and the asset’s price change.
Before closing the bot
- Record Grid Profit and Total Profit.
- Review the base and quote assets held.
- Open the closing preview without confirming.
- Read whether remaining assets will be kept or converted.
- Consider spread and slippage.
- Close only if the result matches your exit plan.
Keep this page distinct from the release-profit guide
This page diagnoses why many transactions do not create available funds. Read whether Infinity Grid profit can be released without closing for the direct feature answer.

Frequently asked questions
Why are Infinity Grid profits not showing in the available balance?
Infinity Grid keeps the strategy’s assets and results inside the running bot. Completed transactions can increase Grid Profit without transferring an equal amount to your free balance.
Do 150 transactions mean the bot earned a large profit?
No. Transactions can represent small orders and not every buy or sell is a completed profitable cycle. Check Grid Profit, unrealized PnL, Total Profit, fees and the investment amount.
Can you release Infinity Grid profit without closing the bot?
Pionex’s current Infinity Grid guide states that the strategy does not support releasing profit for other uses while it runs. Check the live action menu in case product controls change.
Do you have to close Infinity Grid to make its funds tradeable?
Under the currently documented behavior, closing is required to make the strategy’s locked funds and result available outside the bot. Review the closing preview before confirming.
What is the difference between Grid Profit and Total Profit?
Grid Profit comes from completed grid cycles. Total Profit combines Grid Profit with the changing value of the assets still held, so it can be lower or negative.
Why can Grid Profit be positive while Total Profit is negative?
The held base asset can have an unrealized loss larger than completed Grid Profit. Transaction count does not offset a sufficiently large price decline.
What should you check before closing Infinity Grid?
Check current holdings, Grid Profit, unrealized PnL, Total Profit, fees, the assets returned by each closing choice and whether restarting would create new entry risk.
Completed grid cycles do not guarantee positive Total Profit. Closing can convert assets and create execution costs.
