Pionex does not have one fixed minimum investment for every bot. The live minimum changes with the bot, trading pair, price, range, grid count and other parameters. The old claim that every setup can start with 10 USDT is not reliable.
Where to find the real minimum
- Open the bot creation screen.
- Select the bot and trading pair.
- Enter or accept the proposed parameters.
- Review the investment field and displayed minimum.
- Change the parameters only when the strategy still makes sense.
- Confirm fees, asset exposure and closing behavior before funding.
Why the number changes
| Input | How it can affect the minimum |
|---|---|
| Bot type | Different strategies use capital differently |
| Trading pair and price | Order-size and quantity rules vary |
| Range and grid count | More orders need enough capital to satisfy each order |
| Leverage or futures margin | Changes exposure and liquidation risk, not only the entry amount |
Choose the structure before the amount
- Spot Grid fits a defined sideways range.
- Infinity Grid removes the fixed upper boundary but retains downside risk.
- DCA automates purchases over time and remains exposed to the asset.
- Futures strategies add leverage, funding and liquidation risk.
The displayed minimum is not a recommendation
A system minimum only means the configuration can satisfy current order rules. It does not mean the amount is financially appropriate or that the strategy will be profitable. Define the maximum loss you can accept and keep emergency funds separate.
Review the result correctly
After launch, monitor Total Profit, unrealized profit or loss, completed strategy profit, fees and current holdings. Do not judge a bot only by its number of transactions or one headline return.
Pionex’s current Grid Trading Bot guide explains why its minimum is calculated from the pair and parameters.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum investment for a Pionex bot?
There is no single site-wide amount. Pionex calculates the live minimum from the bot, pair, price, range, grid count and other parameters shown on the creation screen.
Can you start every Pionex bot with 10 USDT?
No. The old fixed 10 USDT statement is not reliable for every bot or configuration. Use the minimum displayed after you choose the current parameters.
Why does a Grid Bot minimum change?
The bot must fund multiple orders and satisfy the pair’s order rules. Range, number of grids, price and required order size can therefore change the minimum.
Which Pionex bot is best?
No bot is universally best. The suitable structure depends on your market view, asset, holding goal, loss limit, time horizon and ability to monitor it.
Should you deposit more than the displayed minimum?
Only if the larger loss remains acceptable and the strategy has a clear purpose. More capital does not improve a weak setup or guarantee profit.
How can you compare bot types before funding one?
Compare whether you expect a range, want scheduled accumulation, need an open upper boundary or accept futures risks. Then review the live parameters and exit behavior.
Does the Pionex Trading Bot Finder guarantee the right choice?
No. It helps narrow bot structures based on your answers, but it cannot predict price, profit or whether a strategy is suitable for your finances.
Minimums and product availability can change. The live creation screen is the final operational check, and automated strategies can lose money.
