Which strategy is better between reducing the number of grids or increasing the grids within a certain range?

Which one generates more profit? Does reducing the number of grids increase the profit percentage per grid or reduce?

Answer

Reducing number of grids will increase profit percentage per grid. Lets say you use 10% price range. If you divide this price range inti 10, you’ll get around 1% profit per grid, but if you only divide it into 5 grid, you will get 2% profit per grid.

Keep in mind that the smaller the profit per grid, it is likely to have way more transaction compared to bigger profit per grid since the gap between the grip is smaller, thus it will transact more frequent. Trading 1% grid and 10% grid , the 1% grid will always have way more transaction than the 10%.
