When seeing the stats of a bot that is running, it shows the 'net buy price'. Do I understand correctly that that is the average buy price after the bot has been running?

So let’s say the starting price was 20$ for an asset, now the average buy price is 15$, meaning the assets one holds are now brought down to an average buy price of 15$?

Exactly so the continous buying and selling of the assets averages your price lower hence an appreciation in price accrues a much more profit based on this continous buys .
