Answer

Long means you loan USDT by locking your tokens (XRP) . Youll buy xrp with this loan usdt at first and grid later. You’ll gain more xrp if the price going up

Shorts means you loan XRP by locking your usdt , this xrp will be sold and if the price is lower you will buy xrp with lower price and hav usdt in profit.
