When you open a grid bot and buy a certain amount of currency does it count as grid volume as well?

When you refer people it’s said that you need to get 20k volume to have a skilled referral so I was just estimating the time it would take for my friend to become a skilled referral and if when you open a grid bot for 1000$ for exemple and straight away you buy 500$ of currency to start the bot, if the 500$ you spent already are counted as gris volume

Yes it does. Every filled order or successfull transactions will counted as volume in spot market.
