To know whether you can add funds to a running Pionex Infinity Grid Bot, open that bot’s current action menu and read the confirmation preview. Pionex’s available Infinity Grid FAQ does not support a permanent yes or no for every account and version. The old promise that the feature would arrive in the future should therefore be removed.
- Open the exact running Infinity Grid Bot.
- Open its action or details menu.
- Look for Add Investment or an equivalent current label.
- Read the funding source, amount and effect shown in the preview.
- Do not confirm until you understand what changes and what stays fixed.
Three actions that should not be confused
| Action | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Add investment | Introduces more outside capital to a supported running strategy |
| Auto reinvest profit | Reuses eligible strategy profit when that separate feature is supported |
| Add margin | Supports a leveraged futures position; it is not a spot Infinity Grid control |
What added capital can change
Additional investment can change asset quantities, order sizes and total exposure. It does not necessarily redesign the lower price, profit per grid or other strategy parameters. The confirmation preview should explain the current product behavior.
You can leave the current bot running and create a separate bot with the new capital. This preserves the original strategy record and lets the new allocation use its own settings. Alternatively, you can close and recreate the bot, but first review how assets will settle and the execution cost of closing and reopening.
Review risk before increasing exposure
Infinity Grid has no upper price boundary, but it still has downside risk. As price falls, the strategy can hold more of the base asset, and a move below the lower price can leave it outside its working range. More capital increases the amount exposed to that outcome.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add funds to a running Pionex Infinity Grid Bot?
Check the running bot’s current action menu and confirmation preview. Pionex’s available Infinity Grid FAQ does not establish one permanent add-investment rule, so the live product controls.
Why does the Add Investment option not appear?
The product, pair, bot state, account or current feature rules may not support it. Do not assume the option will be added later.
Does adding investment change the Infinity Grid range?
Do not assume it does. Review the confirmation for how funds, holdings and order sizes change; the strategy’s lower price and profit settings may remain separate.
Is adding investment the same as adding margin?
No. Added investment funds a strategy, while added margin supports a leveraged position against liquidation. Infinity Grid is a spot strategy, so futures margin guidance does not apply.
Is adding funds the same as auto reinvesting profit?
No. Adding funds introduces more capital from outside the bot. Auto reinvestment, where a product supports it, reuses eligible profit under its own rules.
What can I do if added investment is not supported?
You can keep the existing bot unchanged, create a separate bot with new capital, or close and recreate it after reviewing settlement, tax and execution effects.
What should I save before changing an Infinity Grid Bot?
Record Total Profit, Grid Profit, current holdings, lower price, profit per grid, open orders, proposed investment and the complete confirmation preview.
This article is informational. Adding capital increases exposure and does not guarantee a better result.
