Pionex’s Spot-Futures Arbitrage Bot is no longer available. Pionex discontinued it on February 15, 2024 and automatically terminated any remaining arbitrage orders. The old advice on this page about waiting for a price gap or the next funding period should not be used for a current account issue.
What happened to the Arbitrage Bot?
Pionex announced that the Spot-Futures Arbitrage Bot would be discontinued at 15:59:59 UTC on February 15, 2024. Users were advised to close running orders before that deadline; any remaining arbitrage orders were automatically terminated by the system.
Why the original answer is no longer safe
This page originally said a bot in closing mode could wait for a price gap and continue through another funding period. That described an old product state from 2021. Because the product has been retired, it cannot answer what is happening in a current Futures Grid, manual futures position or another bot.
If a current bot appears frozen
- Confirm the exact product name and order ID.
- Open the bot’s Detail and Transaction views.
- Check whether the status is opening, running, closing or closed.
- Review any error message and take screenshots.
- If an order remains stuck opening or closing, Pionex’s current guide suggests observing for up to one hour, then contacting support with your account identifier and screenshot.
Where to find funding records now
For current Futures Grid orders, Pionex says funding income or expense is reflected in Unrealized Profit. Open the bot and go to Detail → Transaction → Funding History → Funding Fee. Funding is separate from trading fees and can be paid or received depending on the rate and position direction.
