Im using a leverage bot and made some great grid profits. Where do the profits go?

They cannot be released they are also not in my usdt account. Do I have to close the bot and sell to get the profits?

The profits is still locked inside the leveraged grid bot. If you want to cash out the profit, you can just stop the bot to realize all the total profit of the bot. Stopping the bot will give you back all your investment + total profit straight into your spot account.
