I think 10-20x shouldnt be problem, because we are spot long and perp short right ? So why not more leverage ?

The higher the leverage, the higher risk of your future position to be liquidated. This will force you to have more often auto-deleverage, and in some cases you will pay more because of the price gap x leverage. This bot is created to have a safety way to hedge your position, and high leverage is not advisable since too many risk involved.
