If you selected a closing option that keeps the coins, check both assets in your Primary Account or Spot balances after the bot finishes closing. The coin is not meant to be converted automatically by a Don’t sell choice, and it may appear under the base asset rather than USDT.
Check both assets in the trading pair
A bot for BTC/USDT can finish with BTC, USDT or a mixture. If you chose not to sell the remaining BTC, look at the BTC balance as well as USDT. Do the same for the base and quote assets in any other pair.
Use the Primary Account balance and occupation record
| Platform | Path to inspect |
|---|---|
| Website | Wallet > Overview > Primary Account > select the asset > Occupation |
| App | Account > Primary Account > Spot Balances > select the asset > Occupation status |
If the amount is occupied by another running bot or open order, it can be part of your total balance without being available for a new trade.
Confirm that closing has completed
- Open bot history and select the closed order.
- Check the closing status, selected settlement option and returned quantities.
- Compare the timestamp with account transaction history.
- Refresh balances after settlement completes.
- Check whether small balances are hidden by a display filter.
Do not assume the coin was sold
Pionex’s Infinity Grid FAQ explains that closing cancels grid orders and returns the remaining base and quote allocation. A keep-assets choice is different from selling everything to the quote asset. Read the exact live preview because labels can vary by bot.
When to ask Support to reconcile the record
If the order is fully closed but its returned quantities do not match the account history, contact official Pionex Support with the order ID, pair, closing time and screenshots. Never share your password or verification codes.
Use Pionex’s account-assets guide and occupied-assets guide. See also what assets a BTC/USDT Grid Bot can return.
Frequently asked questions
Where does an unsold coin go after I close a Pionex bot?
After settlement, the remaining base and quote assets should return to the relevant Primary Account or Spot balances rather than remain in the closed bot.
Does Don’t sell convert the coin to USDT?
No. The purpose of a keep-assets or Don’t sell choice is generally to avoid that final conversion. Check the closing record for the exact assets and quantities returned.
Why can I not see the returned coin immediately?
The bot may still be closing, an order may still be settling, the asset may be occupied elsewhere or a small balance may be hidden by the display filter.
How do I check whether the asset is occupied?
On the website, open Wallet, Overview, Primary Account, select the asset and inspect Occupation. The app provides an Occupation status from the asset’s Primary Account balance view.
Which two assets should I look for after a Grid Bot closes?
Look for both components of the pair. For BTC/USDT, that means BTC and USDT because the bot can return a remaining allocation of each.
Should I close the bot again or place another order?
No. First confirm that the original bot has fully closed and compare its closing history with account balances. Repeated actions can make the record harder to reconcile.
When should I contact Pionex Support?
Contact official Support if the bot is fully closed but its history and the Primary Account balances do not reconcile, or if closing remains stuck after the documented observation period.
