Which Pionex trading bot is best for beginners?

Spot Grid is the best Pionex bot for most beginners. It trades the actual asset without leverage, so there is no futures liquidation risk, and its rule is easy to understand: buy lower and sell higher while price moves inside a range. Start with a liquid trading pair you understand, use Pionex’s AI Strategy as a starting point, invest a small amount and set a stop loss in case price falls below your range. Choose DCA Bot instead if your main goal is to buy an asset gradually rather than trade repeated price swings.

How much money do I need to start a Pionex trading bot?

Use the amount shown in the app as the absolute minimum, not the budget you should aim for. Some small spot setups can start at about 11 USDT. For a first proper test, 50 USDT or more usually gives the bot enough room to place orders, cover fees and use sensible settings. For Spot Grid, the minimum is calculated from the trading pair’s order-size rule, your lower and upper prices, and the number of grids; a wider range or more grids will usually require more capital. DCA and Martingale setups must fund the first order plus every safety order you enable. Futures bots may show a low entry amount, but leverage, funding fees and liquidation risk make them a poor low-budget shortcut. The app shows your exact minimum before confirmation. If it is too high, try fewer grids, a narrower range or a lower-unit pair such as mBTC/USDT where available. Do not put all your available funds into one bot.

Can a trading bot lose money?

Yes. A trading bot automates rules; it does not remove market risk. Losses can come from price moves, a broken trading range, fees, poor settings, leverage or liquidation.

Are trading bots profitable?

Profit is not guaranteed. Results depend on the strategy, market conditions, settings, fees and risk controls. Past performance does not promise future returns.
